    In response to COVID-19, WE Mutual is putting the following precautionary measures into effect.

    1. Branches will be closing effective 4:30pm, Tuesday March 17th and access during the closure period to our branches will be restricted EMERGENCY visits only.

    2. Personal contact with our policyholders will be restricted to “as necessary” i.e. signing of important documentation.

    3. If you need to contact WE Mutual, please do so by phone, our website, or Facebook messenger. We will have staff on hand to monitor all of these platforms.

    4. Payments will only be accepted via credit card using via the link on our website (www.westelgin.com), through your banking institution via e-transfer or online payment or by using the mail slots that are available at all branches if you want to deliver your cheque. Please include your policy number with ALL payments.

    5. A number of staff will be equipped to work from home so we can continue to operate our business and support our members and stakeholders.

    6. Closure will be effective for a two week period, but will be re-assessed on a daily basis.

    Here in Canada we are in a period of uncertainty, but rest assured WE Mutual and its employees will be working to ensure any disruptions are kept to a minimum.
